Room loan

Since the shelf is open, this refers to the personal search, selection, obtaining and consultation of the required documents inside the enclosure.

Home loan

It is the service that is granted to the internal user to obtain the required documents outside the library and take them home for a determined time.

Online loan

Loan of electronic books on digital shelves found in the databases, according to the policies of each resource.

Interlibrary loan (PIB)

Special type of loan established through agreements with other institutions to facilitate: researchers, professors, students and collaborators obtaining existing documents in other libraries.

Renovation

When the book loan expires, users have the right to postpone it for three more periods, the time will depend on the type of material.

The condition to carry out the renewal is to carry out the process exactly on the expiration day, this procedure can be done through:

Mobile library

It is a service that aims to bring the library and literature closer to the different areas of the University; as well as find out about new acquisitions, ask for reading suggestions, consult and borrow some material, return borrowed materials, consult the librarian about questions about the Digital Library, among others.

Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI)

It is the search and retrieval of precise and specific information on a particular subject and delivered to the user. Service provided to Researchers and Teachers, with an estimated response time of 4 to 48 hours maximum.

User orientation

In the different service areas there are personnel who will support users in the use and management of the collection and electronic resources.

Online reference

It is the consultation service that is provided through Email or chat.

Academic integrity

Training sessions on the use and management of Databases, Reference Managers, Plagiarism Prevention Programs and bibliographic styles. Face-to-face or virtual sessions individually or in groups.

Guided visits

The Library makes a guided tour available to its visitors in order to provide them with information about its services, facilities and collection. Through the tour, visitors will be able to have a broad and accurate overview of the Library, since they will have the opportunity to get to know each section with the corresponding information, to request the guided tour service for groups, it is necessary to contact the head of the User Services department at least three days in advance.
